![]() ![]() Recitation of it when you enter your house will keep poverty away from you and Allah will keep providing for you abundantly. If you recite this verse before sleeping then an angel will be appointed to protect you for the whole night. Reciting it when you go to bed, Allah will appoint a guard for you who will stay with you, and no shaitan will come near you until morning. Recitation of ayatul kursi when you leave your house then Allah will appoint 70,000 angels to protect you from all sides. The verse has tremendous virtues and authentic hadith describe it as the greatest ayah in the book of Allah. This beautiful verse emphasizes the greatness and might of Allah, portraying His power and His magnificence in all things. English Transliteration Ayatul KursiĪllahu laaa ilaaha illaa huwal haiyul qai-yoom laa taakhuzuhoo sinatunw wa laa nawm lahoo maa fissamaawaati wa maa fil ard man zallazee yashfa’u indahooo illaa be iznih ya’lamu maa baina aideehim wa maa khalfahum wa laa yuheetoona beshai ‘immin ‘ilmihee illa be maa shaaaa wasi’a kursiyyuhus samaa waati wal arda wa la ya’ooduho hifzuhumaa wa huwal aliyyul ‘azeem His Seat encompasses the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of both does not tire Him. Who could possibly intercede with Him without His permission? He fully knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but no one can grasp any of His knowledge-except what He wills to reveal. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. It does not store any personal data.Allah! There are some weak hadiths, which say that if a person recites Surah Yasin continuously he will die as a shaheed. It will be preferable to read the aforementioned verses individually and also quietly to refrain from disturbing others who still may be in their prayers. (Musnad Ahmad, Sunan Darimi & Sunan Tirmizi) If a person recites the same solemn words in the evening, he will attain the same status. Saaiduna Maqil Ibn Yasar Radiallahu Anhu narrates that the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam said, “Whoever when he wakes in the morning says ‘I seek refuge with Allah against the accursed satan’ and then recited three verses from the last part of Surah Hashr, will be assigned seventy thousand angels to pray for him until the evening, and should he die that day, he would have died a martyr. However, there is a hadith which encourages us to read the last part of Surah Hashr in the morning and the evening. ![]() I have not come across any hadith, which says that the last part of Surah Hashr should be read after the Maghrib salah. ![]()
